Princess Kate - Royal Wedding Big Screens

The Royal Wedding of Prince William to his University sweetheart, Kate Middleton, is just hours away and so it is now a case of putting those finishing touches together. Whilst many will be viewing the action of the day in the comfort of their own homes, in the UK and all over the world, a huge turnout is expected in central London on April 29th.

In anticipation of the huge crowds that will flock to the Capital, giant screens have been erected in Hyde Park and Trafalgar Square, and many are expected to dress up for the occasion. In the early hours of April 29th, revellers are due to arrive in order to secure a good position in full view of Westminster Abbey, where the wedding ceremony will take place, Buckingham Palace, where the newly-weds and the rest of the Royal family will gather on the balcony to greet spectators, and the large outdoor screens across the Capital.

The screens are due to broadcast the events from inside Westminster Abbey which will include the arrivals of the Royal family, and exclusively the Prince and the Royal bride, Kate. Live wedding action will commence from 7am and will last for the majority of the day. Trafalgar Square is expected to host as many as 20,000 people, and an even more jaw-dropping 200,000 are predicted to attend the live screening in Hyde Park. Entertainment will be put on for revellers in both locations; this will include a wedding band, hat-making workshops and a photo station. Refreshments stalls will sell champagne and wedding cake. The day is aimed to be a fun day for the whole family and will no doubt go down in history as a Royal occasion to remember.
